Soda Fired Stone Sculpture
Fired in a special soda kiln, this stone sculpture is truly one of a kind. During the firing, a mixture of soda ash and water is sprayed into the kiln at 2275 degrees and as it swirls around in the kiln with the path of the flame, it reacts with flashing slip and the clay to form it's own glaze and create dramatic colors and effects. The stone can be hung on a wall four different ways, or displayed on a table.
