Fired in a special soda kiln, these cups are truly one of a kind. During the firing, a mixture of soda ash and water is sprayed into the kiln at 2275 degrees and as it swirls around with the path of the flame, it reacts with flashing slip and the clay to form it's own glaze and create dramatic colors and effects.
